Jim Furyk, at number six, on the All-time PGA Tour Money List will be a surprise to may golf fans.

But Furyk has quietly amassed over $71 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour.

That’s more than major Champions like Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm.

So how did a man with one major championship and a famously unorthodox swing end up among golf’s financial elite?

Furyk’s secret lies in consistency.

He’s won 17 times on the PGA Tour, including the 2003 U.S. Open, but it’s his relentless ability to make cuts and contend regularly that turned his earnings into a slow-burn fortune.

Over a career that spans more than 25 years, Furyk has racked up more than 430 cuts made—an astounding number that put him in contention time and again for top-10 finishes and big cheques, even if he didn’t always lift the trophy.

With these adjustments McSweeney found Ben Hogan’s career earnings jump to a whopping $176,728,205 catapulting him to the very top of the All-Time PGA Tour Money list!

One trend that’s impossible to ignore is the surge of current Tour players in the upper reaches of this list.

While legends like Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh raked in impressive sums in their prime, they’re now being overtaken by the new generation thanks to soaring prize money in recent seasons.

When you consider Scottie Scheffler won over $51 million in 2024, which places him 18th on the all-time earnings list alone (just below Rickie Fowler’s full career earnings!), it’s easy to see how modern players dominate the table.

FedEx Cup wins, Signature Events, and elevated prize money have fast-tracked stars like Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas into the money list stratosphere—often with fewer wins than their predecessors.
