Provision of your Holiday
We will arrange for the provision of all parts of the inclusive holiday as confirmed to you. There is no holiday booked until you have received a confirmation invoice. The appropriate deposit then needs to be paid within two weeks of receiving your invoice, otherwise your place will be released. Once your deposit is received your holiday is secured. All holidays are subject to availability.
Greencard reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice. The price for all quotations is guaranteed for 15 days. Beyond that time you must ask for a requote. On the Greencard Tournament events we are obliged to print a fixed price up to 14 months in advance of an event. In that time many factors can change, especially exchange rates. In the unlikely event that it became necessary to alter the price of an invoiced trip you will be offered the chance of a full refund of all monies paid including flights even if you have bought them yourself, upon proof of payment. However should there be changes to Govt taxes we reserve the right to pass on the increase. We charge 2% on all credit & debit card transactions.
By booking a Greencard Golf Holiday we assume that you have your own travel insurance. Your signature on the booking form is taken by us to imply that you have adequate insurance. Greencard will not be responsible should you travel without insurance.
Your Commitment to Us
The full amount of the holiday must be paid by the due date on the invoice. Failure to do so may result in the holiday being cancelled and cancellation charges outlined below would be effective.
Changing Your Holiday
If you wish to make changes to your holiday you must be prepared to pay the additional costs, if any, involved. Greencard will at all times endeavour to accommodate your requests at minimum cost. After changes have been made a new invoice will be issued.
Cancelling Your Holiday
If you need to cancel your holiday you must notify Greencard in writing or by email. The cancellation date will be the date on which Greencard receives written notification. The following cancellation charges will apply:
More than 42 Days Total amount of airfare paid and Loss of Deposit
41 to 29 days 30% of total cost
28 to 14 days 60% of total cost
14 to 7 days 75% of total cost
Under 7 days 100% of total cost
If you encounter a problem with an aspect of your holiday you must notify the provider (hotel, hire car co, golf course etc) immediately to enable him to rectify the problem. If you are unable to obtain satisfaction you must notify the Greencard representative or the Greencard UK Office by phone or email. If in spite of our best efforts we were unable to resolve the problem you must notify us in writing within 28 days of your return. We cannot accept responsibility if you fail to follow this simple procedure.
Our Commitment to You
Changes to your Holiday
If we make a significant change to your holiday (change of airport, hotel, change of date, change of more than 2 golf courses) you will be notified as soon as we are aware. Should you wish to cancel at that stage there would be a 100% refund. Minor changes such as tee times, flight times (within 8 hours, twin beds instead of king etc., must be considered in the context of the overall holiday and the number of independent suppliers upon whom Greencard is dependent in order to provide a golfing holiday. Supplements paid for upgrades that were not provided will of course be refunded.
Greencard will at all times endeavour to provide the holiday as promised in the brochure.
If We Cancel Your Holiday
There will be a 100% refund of all monies paid. If the cancellation takes place within 42 days of departure, Greencard will undertake to provide an acceptable alternative. Should we fail in this endeavour we will provide compensation up to a maximum of £100 per person or 15% of the total holiday cost whichever is the lower.
Greencard will endeavour to provide the holiday as booked. Should our agents, suppliers, or we fail to provide the promised service then Greencard accepts overall responsibility provided that the complaint procedure above has been followed. Exceptions are damage to personal possessions in transit and late arrival at ports, airports or golf courses. Or when antisocial behaviour precludes our agent from wishing to provide a service (ie for being drunk or abusive).
We accept responsibility for death, bodily harm or illness as a result of failing to perform any part of our contract. The exceptions being where the client failed to take adequate travel insurance cover as described in our travel policy.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays and associated costs by an airline. The travel insurance policy provides compensation for significant delays and curtailment.
While we endeavour to provide the very best for our clients we cannot be held responsible for a poor view, twin beds instead of double, unless such request has been made at the time of booking and made clear that it is a condition of booking. Please also bear in mind that sports facilities offered by hotels may not always be available due to previous bookings or maintenance.
Should tee times and courses change we will endeavour to ensure your satisfaction but it must be understood that in some cases courses could be closed at short notice. Should more than 2 of your courses be changed we would consider that a major change to your holiday and you would be offered a chance to cancel without loss.
All car hire provided by Greencard is on condition that the driver is over 24 years old, has a clean licence and agrees to drop off the car at the agreed drop off point. Fuel costs are not included. Basic minimum insurance with CDW and all taxes are included. An excess may apply to the CDW, in some cases quite high. This can be waived by paying a supplement.
The air holidays and flights in this brochure are ATOL protected since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. In the unlikely event of our insolvency the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange the refund of any money you have paid to us in an advance booking.
The ATOL licence does not cover any holiday that does not involve air travel or holidays for which we have not bought the flights. For further info refer to: www.atol.org.uk
