Paul McGinley Redesigned North Course Opened for Greencard Finals
Quinta Do Lago North Course has recently undergone an amazing multi-million Euro redesign by 2014 Ryder Cup winning captain Paul McGinley and American architect Beau Welling, the main consultant for Tiger Woods Design. We will be playing a round of the finals on the North and will be one of the first major groups from the UK to do so.
The course revamp was one of the most talked-about design projects in Europe in 2014. McGinley made his first public appearance after the Ryder Cup victory at Gleneagles when the course was officially re-opened earlier this month. Proof that this is now course you have to have on your “golf bucket list” comes with the announcement that Quinta Do Lago was recently named Number One course in Portugal, it also hosted the 2014 Junior Golf Championship earlier in the Summer.
