Why Royal Bled is so Special…
Slovenia may not be the first European country you think of as a golf holiday destination, but Royal Bled is a real gem.
The combination of a small, but high-quality hotel, with two fantastic on-site golf courses make it a perfect for a Greencard event.
We have been bringing groups here for many years and have never been disappointed – especially since the recent multi-million Euro renovations.
The resort is set below the Julian Alps which border Slovenia and Austria giving fabulous mountain views throughout the golf courses and from the hotel.
The food is a real highlight of any stay here using local ingredients and homemade speciality dishes. The à la carte restaurant and terrace are designed to make the most of the spectacular mountain views while you enjoy your meal.
The Championship Kings Course has hosted many professional and amateur tournaments.
It’s a beautiful woodland layout framed by forests and mountain peaks – a round here will be a memorable experience.
The Lakes Course is eqaully as spectacular and no less challenging off the tee.
There’s also an impressive academy for anyone looking to work on their game during the trip.

Whilst we have reserved the rooms in the newly renovated and luxurious Kings House there is also the option of staying in the Lakes house, subject to availability.
There are 8 rooms in The Kings House and 4 in The Lakes House – this makes availability very limited so if you’d like to join us on the event please let us know ASAP so we can confirm your first choice of accommodation.
Kings House
Originally built in 1938 it is a testament to the regional Slovenian architecture and its unmistakable facade speaks clearly of its time and place.
Following its extensive renovation, the King’s house has been restored to its original grandeur and the refined interiors, open fires and comfortable furniture create a unique and familiar atmosphere which ensures that guests can relax and enjoy the unrivalled surroundings.
The hotel is rounded off by wonderful views across the golf course, the Karanvanke and the Julian Aps. This is truly a special place.
Lakes House
Comprising of four rooms the Lake House is situated a mere chip shot from the King’s House and first tee of both courses. The Lake’s House is as comfortable as it is charming. The local Slovenian décor is fantastically complimented by modern furnishings and of course, the accommodation is dramatically framed by the expansive surrounding mountains.

The Kings Golf course is the oldest and the largest Slovenian golf course.
Its origins date back to 1937 and in our opinion, it is one of the most exhilarating and beautiful places to play golf anywhere in the world.
In addition to the main Kings course there is also the 9 hole Lakes course, which clients can play in the afternoon following the main round for no additional charge.

Greencard Golf Breaks Lake Bled 2027: Event Format
Our events are open to singles, couples or small groups equally.
The format will be a mixture of team games with best two scores to count on all rounds.
In arranging teams, we will always endeavour to meet individual requests and preferences.
Additional golf can be arranged on free day if required subject to the relevant green fee and availability at the time of booking.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you would any extra rounds, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Greencard Golf Breaks Lake Bled 2027: Travel Details
There are direct flights from Heathrow with British Airways to Ljubljana. EasyJet fly to the same destination from Gatwick to match the dates of the event.
Airport Transfers
Airport Transfers are included, you will be met on arrival in Ljubljana for the transfer to Royal Bled.
Similarly there is a return transfer back at the end of your holiday.
