Winter Golf Holidays Thailand | Greencard Golf Holidays

Play Spectacular Golf Courses[/one_third]

The 2017 Greencard Golf Tour event in Thailand will be a two centre holiday with six nights on the beautiful Nai Yang beach in Phuket followed by nine nights at the Centara Resort in Hua Hin. We have Winter Golf Holidays Thailand | Greencard Golf Holidaysbeen organising golf holidays and tournaments in Thailand for nearly 30 years and have vast experience of the best this wonderful country has to offer.  We’ve carefully selected our hotels with both golfers and non-golfers in mind and to ensure you will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay with plenty to do and see during your stay.

We’ve also taken time to design a golf schedule that means we play a round only every other day, giving you plenty of downtime. We can always arrange additional rounds for you if required on any of the magnificent courses near both our hotel locations.

Our 2016 Thailand golf holiday was a great success and we think this combination of relaxing beach resorts and fantastic golf courses will be equally as enjoyable.

The Indigo Pearl:Phuket

The Indigo Pearl is a stylish five star design resort on the edge of the wonderful Nai Yang beach, which is part of a nature reserve. The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail.

There is plenty to keep you busy but relaxed when we are not on the golf course. Facilities include 8 restaurants and bars, 3 outdoor pools, beach club, art gallery, fitness studio, tennis courts, on-site dive centre and the award-winning Coqoon Spa.  You can even enjoy Thai cooking classes if you wish to swap your 7-iron for a spatula!

Studio Accommodation Option at Indigo Pearl: Alongside our suites we are also able to offer a Studio option. Whilst smaller in size than the Pearl Bed Suite, the Studios offer a great alternative for singles or couples who may not require the additional space and features of the main hotel.  Each room is beautifully designed and furnished, with en-suite facilities plus balconies overlooking the gardens and pool area.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort: Hua Hin

Formerly the Hua Hin Railway Hotel, one of the classic hotels of the East, the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin was constructed in 1923 and has fully retained its old-world charm. Centara Hotels & Resorts acquired the lovely old property in 1985, and with every sensitivity towards its original elegance has extended and upgraded the hotel, which stands on 16 hectares of beachfront land amongst topiary gardens that are one of the great local landmarks.

The 2017 Greencard Tour event in Thailand will be played over six golf courses each providing it’s own challenge. Over the full trip to Phuket and Hua Hin you will play 7 rounds 4 of which will be part of our 72 hole tournament.  This year we will again be playing two rounds at the spectacular Black Mountain Golf Club.

During our 2016 Thailand golf tournament holiday we found Black Mountain to be one of the best we’d played on the Greencard Tour for a while both in terms of the course condition but also due to the stunning scenery surrounding nearly every hole.  It’s a definite must play course for golfers of all standards.

Golf Course Overviews

Golf in Phuket

Loch Palm

One of Phuket’s original courses has two distinct nines. The front nine sits amid lakes and palm trees, whilst the back nine moves you through the mountain scenery. Since completing its upgrade it is now a worthy sister to its illustrious neighbour at Red Mountain.

Blue Canyon Lakes

As it’s name suggests, water features heavily on the Lakes Course, with no less that 17 of its 18 holes incorporating the striking semi-natural water features carved into the landscape from the flooded canyons of Phuket’s tin mining past.

Red Mountain

Red Montain Golf Course is the number one course in Phuket and is one of best in Asia. It features spectacular holes amongst the rocky landscape with its distinctive red soil.

Golf in Hua Hin

Black Mountain

Black Mountain is everything you would expect of a world-class golf resort. Not only is the championship course acknowledged as being one of the best in Asia, it is the only course in Thailand ever named in Golf Digest’s Top 100 Courses Outside the US.

Here you will experience golf at its very best in a wonderful setting, with sweeping vistas from almost every hole, a challenging yet highly enjoyable design and tour-standard conditioning.

Since opening in 2007, Black Mountain has hosted three Asian Tour events, including the 2014 King’s Cup held in January, and has won a string of international awards, including best course in Thailand for the past three years in a row.

Banyan Golf Course

The championship golf course and clubhouse has claimed awards in the tio 3 “Best” places for three consecutive years by Asian Golf Monthly. Also the Banyan course was featured in the Top 1000 in the World by Rolex.

Opened in 2008, Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin, Thailand offers golfers a world-class golf experience and dining facilities to be enjoyed by every player and visitor.

The unique contemporary Thai style designed clubhouse features luxurious changing rooms, exclusive club suite accommodation, Mulligan’s Pub and Terrace Restaurant.

All is perfectly complimented by 5-star service. Spectacular sunset views of the Burmese mountains from the clubhouse make it an even more memorable experience for everyone to enjoy.

Springfield Royal Country Club

Beautifully maintained, the Springfield Royal Country Club presents the golfer with a wonderful, 27 beautifully designed, landscaped holes – each challenges your senses of aesthetics as well as your golfing skills. It is a true Jack Nicklaus masterpiece.

A championship course with five sets of tees to play from, the course offers varying degrees of difficulty that accentuate the dramatic lush landscape.

Be prepared for some long carries if you are brave enough to play from the back tees. It is one of the best courses you will ever play!

This is a wonderful setting in which to play golf, with sweeping vistas from almost every hole, a challenging yet highly enjoyable design and tour-standard conditioning.
